Steve was Black Entertainment Television’s (BET) outside accountant and financial adviser up to the company’s Initial Public Offering. He has managed or overseen numerous financings including recapitalizations, management buyouts and private equity and venture capital financings. His experience covers new ventures to mature multi-generation family businesses to publicly-held companies. He has been the CFO of successful growth companies, including mortgage banking, IT, staffing and CPA firms. Additionally, he has served as an outside adviser to companies in real estate ownership and management, manufacturing, distribution, entertainment and contracting.
Steve serves as the President and CFO of Brothers Services, one of the MidAtlantic’s most successful, well-respected and largest residential remodeling and construction companies. As president, Steve oversees all operations and financial management of Brothers. Steve obtained his MBA from Loyola College and his undergraduate degree from the University of Baltimore.
